Just wanted to say "Thanks!"

Hi guys,

I had posted here back in October about how I wanted to make changes and work up the courage to get WLS. I got a lot of encouragement and reading through this forum made me feel more confident in my choice. I went to an Info seminar in November, had my first meet with the surgen in December and started my pre-op certs in January. Working hard and scheduling my appointments close, I got them all done in a month.

I'm set to have RNY on February 22nd and I couldn't have done it without your encouragement. :D

This board is tremendous support and great if you have a question. I will NEVER forget early out, when I had my one and only dumping episode, I came on line and asked what was happening....and had the answer literally within 3 minutes. 3 MINUTES.

Questions, frustrations, comments, whatever! You are  in a terrific place.

Congrats on your decision and taking control of your life.  I ditto Beth that this is a great place for all phases of the journey.  Many great people with lots of experience.

It does take a lot of courage to have WLS - it's a huge decision and it sounds like you're following the right steps to get you where you need to be. Congratulations and welcome to the PA Boards!!

Congratulations on such great work getting scheduled so quickly.  That is awesome.  We are here for you throughout the process.  Where will you be having your surgery?  What part of the state are you in?

AWESOME!! Congrats on making the best decision for your life and health! It took me five years to finally decide to have WLS. It was the best thing I have done for myself! The friends that you make on here are valuable. We have a wealth of information and support!
